Seems great, had it for a week now, it was so easy to programme and seems to work very well so far
No complaints. I was resistant to get this but I was away overnight, and didn’t have anyone to look in on my boy until the afternoon. I set it up the week before and waited for the inevitable (for him to ignore it) and thankfully, he took to it immediately! He hasn’t yet been Pavlov’d to the sound of it dispensing, but I prefer that. The size of the bowl is deceptive: looks small but holds a large amount. You can also easily change the time/amounts to dispense according to needs. The only thing I haven’t done is added the batteries for backup, but I will before I next go away. It looks good quality and isn’t too large or takes up too much space. In terms of value, it’s one of those things that you won’t regret for long term assurance, so it’s worth the money in my opinion. Make sure that the size of kibble is small enough to dispense - this may affect the durability of the item. I use Scrumbles!
Update 13-4-26 the company sent me a replacement which now does work. I haven’t tried it with batteries but it works great plugged into the mains and has helped when I’ve been out later than planned and it’s my dogs dinner time. Great customer serviceDon’t bother wasting your money. Doesn’t work. Doesn’t send kibble out at all. Terrible product.
Very easy to set up and use. It dispenses the food perfectly, I was a bit worried as our kibble (Wiskas) was just on the edge of the size guide but it comes out fine. Our boy took a few days to get used to it as the noise of the dry kibble hitting the aluminium bowl can be a bit jarring but now he knows it's where to food comes from, he's out of the room like a shot when he hears it!!!So far we have had it connected to mains the whole time but I had it on batteries only when setting up and there doesn't seem to be a disparity between how fast etc it isOnly downside we have been able to find is that the cable it is supplied with is quite short so if you're not feeding the cat near a plug socket, you may need to find a longer cable that is suitable.
I didn't need the instructions, it was very intuitive and it has been very effective at feeding the guinea-pigs several times a day.
